BOOSTING THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS
OUR SHEET METAL WELDING
WORKING CAPABILITIES
ROBOFACTURING3D, together with our Manufacturing Partners, can offer MIG/MAG or TIG Metal Arc Welding services, which are the most widely used technologies in sectors such as automotive, food, construction, pharmaceutical, electronics, IT, medical, automation, and even defence and aerospace.
MIG/MAG and TIG welding processes are recognized for their low costs, making them very competitive technologies compared to other types of welding.
MIG/MAG/GMAW WELDING
MIG/MAG Welding is a Metal Inert Gas / Metal Active Gas / Gas Metal Arc Welding process that uses a consumable electrode and an inert gas (to protect the welding from oxidation). It is a simple, versatile and fast technique. Allows the metal material to be deposited at high speed and in any position. It is often used to bond metals with thicknesses from low to medium, such as stainless steel or non-ferrous metals (such as aluminum, copper, or magnesium).
TIG WELDING
TIG Welding is a Metallic Arc Welding process that uses a tungsten non-combustible electrode and an inert gas (to protect the welding from oxidation). Unlike the previous one, it allows delicate work to be performed, but its process is slow, in addition to requiring precision. The result is usually stronger, high-quality welds. It is often used to bond low-thickness metals, such as stainless steel or non-ferrous metals (such as aluminum, copper, or magnesium).
QUALITY REPORTS
The performance of our Robofacturing and Manufacturing Partners is continuously monitored to ensure that all orders are completed in accordance with ROBOFACTURING3D Manufacturing Standards Manual.
We offer four (4) different inspection options. All CNC machined parts will receive a standard inspection report included in the part price and lead time. All inspection options are described below.
STANDARD INSPECTION REPORT
DETAILED INSPECTION REPORT
WITH DIMENSIONAL REPORT
Our Quality Control (QC) will verify the quantity, part material, features, and surface finish. Quality Control (QC) will verify up to 20 dimensions they deem critical. Documentation will not be shipped with your parts.
100% of all dimensions including both actual dimensions and allowable tolerance (subject to the applicable 100 maximums). Technical drawing required in PDF format.
CMM INSPECTION REPORT WITH
DIMENSIONAL REPORT
FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION REPORT
(PER AS9102)
100% of all dimensions including both actual dimensions and allowable tolerance (subject to the applicable 100 maximums). Technical drawing required in PDF format.
100% of all dimensions including both actual dimensions and allowable tolerance (subject to the applicable 100 maximums). Technical drawing required in PDF format.
CERTIFICATES
STANDARD MATERIAL CERTIFICATION
CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY (CofC)
Every order includes our Standard Material Certification, but this will not be shipped with your parts. Our Quality Control (QC) will verify the part’s material chemical and physical and mechanical properties are in compliance with the specified standards.
Order will include our Certificate of Conformity (CofC) report if it is required from our customer. A competent authority will certify that the supplied part meets the required specifications.
